The TS-1825 shade sail is manufactured in the USA using UV stabilized high density polyethylene (HDPE) shade fabric and UV stabilized sewing thread. Each corner is reinforced using multiple layers of shade cloth and a stainless steel d-ring. A pocket is sewn around the entire perimeter of the sail to house a tensioning wire rope (included) which is designed to help transfer the tensile load from the corner tensioning device (small turnbuckles or pulley kit included) to the center of the sail.

Each sun shade sail is made when ordered so please verify color and sizing prior to ordering because returns are only accepted under limited circumstances, otherwise all sales are final. Also, manufacturing timelines may vary so please contact us with any specific timing needs. An expedite service is available and sails can be produced in as few as 3 business days.

Start paddling this 16' vintage kayak today and add sailing options later. This is an Early 70's Klepper Kamerad TS that is prepped for sailing and available with a 2014 Trailex SUT -220-S kayak trailer as an option. We have installed a sailing rudder and foot pedals, 2 new comfort seats and a bow deck fitting to convert this kayak to a schooner with one of our BSD sail rigs at a later date. Approx weight empty is 65#. The Kamerad TS can be paddled or sailed by one person from the stern or bring a friend to ride in the bow seat.

She was commissioned by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in 1974, and remains the only Canadian ship to be commissioned by a reigning monarch. Although very similar to sister ships Pathfinder and St. Lawrence II, there are several minor structural differences such as a wider transom and a slightly larger freeboard. Since 1974 Playfair has conducted sail training on the Great Lakes with occasional summer voyages down the St. Lawrence River to the Atlantic, most recently in 2007 for Tall Ships Halifax.

Sailors traveling in standard cabins can use the Virgin Voyages app to reserve dining 45 days prior to departure (60 days for those booked in Rockstar and Mega Rockstar Quarters). Shore Things (Virgin's term for excursions) are also bookable on the app prior to sailing (120 days for standard cabins, or 135 for Rockstar and Mega Rockstar sailors).

Toronto Brigantine Inc. operates two brigantines, the sail-training vessels Pathfinder and Playfair. They were both designed and built as sail training vessels for TBI by Francis A. McLachlan in Kingston, Ontario, Canada.

The topsail schooner is arguably one of the most versatile of all sailing rig types, being able to sail quickly close to the wind with her fore-and-aft sails like our other vessels, but also has excellent downwind performance with a square topsail and course. Her spacious decks are ideal for group activities, and her large size, sheltered cockpit and high freeboard mean guest crew feel safe at sea.

We think Johanna Lucretia will provide the missing link in British sail training as no other organisation in the UK has a topsail schooner. She is the perfect pocket tall ship. Adult crews that get a buzz at looking aloft to see white square sails powering them downwind. Couples will enjoy the fact that she has a range of accommodation options including double and twin cabins. Keen sailors will love a ship that can tack and gybe without bringing half the navy on deck. With only 12 guest crew and a crew of 4 you will have plenty of attention and room. The previous owner-skipper Rodger Barton was a succesfull restaurateur in a former life. The ship was his home and he liked to eat well as he traveled with charter guests. He furnished the decor below stylishly and the galley was the heart and soul of the ship.
